Churches in Wroxham Parish

Wroxham: St Mary

St Mary's Close Wroxham Norwich

A fine carved Norman doorway, stained blue, leads into a beautiful church with some striking stained glass, 18th century wall monuments and modern altar hangings. A modern glass screen divides the main congregational seating from the draughty main door, but this can be opened out for baptisms, weddings and other large services.
The Friends of Wroxham Church was set up to help raise funds for reroofing the North Aisle and other repairs.
We have services every Sunday, though we alternate a benefice service with Hoveton St John on the second Sunday of the month. We support a number of Charities and Mission agencies from church funds.
